Born in a Garage. Built for the Global Stage.
We weren't handed a machine shop or a school lab. We bought our own tools, moved into a garage, and spent three seasons building our way out of it.
We started in 2023 as an independent community team without school affiliation. That meant everything including space, tools, funding, and training had to be built from scratch alongside our first robot.
After a tough 2024–25 season, we spent the off-season overhauling our engineering process. We replaced guesswork with structured design reviews, rigorous test logging, and clean, easily debugged autonomous code.
The discipline paid off. The next season, our OPR surged from 35 to 114, launching us into the top 500 teams globally. We won back-to-back Think Awards for our technical documentation, validating our process far better than any match record.
- Log before you fix. Every failure is documented with its underlying root cause, not just a quick patch.
- Document to decentralize. Knowledge should not live with one person. If only one student can run a system, the team does not truly know it.
- Gracious Professionalism. Lend the tool, share the code, win the match.
